Entries are now open for Lane Cove Swim Club’s annual Club Championships. These are official events and are held on three dates at Lane Cove Aquatic Centre – February 17 (after Saturday Club); February 18 from 4pm; and March 3 from 4pm. Program for session 3 is below.

Swimmers can nominate a maximum of 7 age group events plus 1 open event across all three sessions with their results counting towards the Club Championship competition. Please note that swimmers must have competed in 3 Saturday Club racing carnivals to qualify for the championships. Those swimmers who have not swum at 3 Saturday Club racing carnivals can still enter for the purposes of gaining official times but will be ineligible to be Club Champion.

Entries are via Swim Central and close for ALL THREE sessions on 13 February. (I will repeat that, since many last year did not understand, entries close for ALL THREE session on 13 February). Late entries will not be accepted so please get your entries in on time.

In addition to Club Championship events, on 17 February we will be offering an opportunity for swimmers in the competitive streams to gain official times in a 200m form stroke event (breaststroke, backstroke or butterfly). Eligibility for the 200m form stroke event is at the Coach’s discretion. If you wish to participate, please discuss with your coach prior to entering via Swim Central. These events will not count towards the Club Championships and can be swum in addition to the 7 nominated Club Championship events.
